Can you organize a custom itinerary?
Of course. Tailor-made adventures are one of our specialties. Whether you're looking to combine destinations, celebrate a special occasion, organise a family holiday, plan a photography expedition, or create a completely unique adventure, we'll design an itinerary around your interests, travel style, timeframe, and budget.
Can I join one of your group departures?
Yes. Many of our scheduled departures are designed for solo travellers, couples, friends, and small groups looking to share an adventure with like-minded people.
If no suitable departure is available, we can also organise the same experience as a private trip on your preferred dates.
How can I pay?
Secure online and in-person payments are available by credit or debit card, bank transfer, cash (by prior arrangement), and a range of international payment options.
A minimum 30% deposit secures your booking. Unless otherwise agreed, at least 50% of the total trip cost must be paid 20 days before departure, with the remaining balance due no later than 5 days before your trip.
Once we've received and verified your payment, we'll send you a confirmation along with the next steps for your adventure.
How quickly will I receive a reply?
The fastest way to reach us is via WhatsApp. We usually respond very quickly during Colombian daytime (GMT-5). If we're out in the field guiding an adventure, we'll reply as soon as we're back in coverage.
Do I need travel insurance?
Every LOCOMBIA experience includes accident and emergency medical insurance for that experience. This is provided through specialised travel insurance providers.
We still strongly recommend that international visitors purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical expenses, cancellations, baggage, and other travel-related situations beyond the scope of LOCOMBIA's activity insurance.
Colombian residents must have valid national health insurance (EPS).
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that travel plans can change. Whenever possible, we'll do our best to be flexible.
However, due to operational requirements and non-refundable bookings with accommodation providers, transport companies, permit authorities, and other third-party suppliers, flexibility isn't always possible.

We don't operate a walk-in office. Unlike a traditional travel agency, most of our time is spent guiding expeditions, exploring new routes, or preparing unforgettable adventures throughout Colombia.

Located in the heart of the Colombian Andes, Ibagué is the perfect base for exploring central Colombia, with easy access to Bogotá, the Coffee Region, Los Nevados National Natural Park, the Toche Wax Palm Forest, and Machín Volcano. With a domestic airport and direct access to the Pan-American Highway, it's also well connected to the rest of Colombia.
