Los Nevados National Park

Los Nevados National Natural Park is one of Colombia’s most unique high-altitude environments, defined by snow-capped volcanoes, vast páramo ecosystems, and remote mountain terrain.

Located in the central Andes, the park protects a fragile landscape where glaciers, high-altitude wetlands, and volcanic peaks coexist. This is not a typical destination — conditions can be harsh, weather changes quickly, and access requires planning and experience.

With access points from the Coffee Region and Ibagué, Los Nevados offers multiple expeditions to explore its terrain, including routes to Nevado del Tolima, Nevado de Santa Isabel, and high-altitude trekking across the páramo.
